Today was Rebecca's first day of preschool. We all awoke early to get ready for school! She was happy and excited as we walked in and didn't mind in the least when we got ready to go - she was already playing with the other kids! I got a bit of a lump in my throat when we were walking in to school, but after she was not at all concerned about our leaving, how could I be sad? So Mommy made it without crying! I called to check on her at lunchtime, and I was told that she was having a great day and had eaten two slices of pizza at the birthday party they were having in her room. When Ramy picked her up this afternoon, Mrs. Flores told him that it was as if Rebecca had been in the classroom a long time. I don't think we could have asked for a better first day of preschool! She is excited to go back tomorrow!
