No more!

Thankfully, Rebecca's bout with tonsillitis was short-lived. She laid around all day yesterday and slept a lot, drank a lot, and didn't eat anything, but by last night, you'd have never known she had been feeling bad. She's still got 5 more days of antibiotics, but no fever, and she's basically back to her normal self. Thank God!

I am interviewing for an internship at the University of California in Irvine student counseling center on Monday afternoon. Yay! I got rejected by one of the VAs. It was too far to drive and a very competitive site (and I have no VA experience), but I'll admit that the rejection stung a bit, even though I know that, statistically, you get offered interviews at about half the places you apply.

My mom is safely back in Tennessee. We had a nice visit with her and look forward to going home for Christmas in just a couple of weeks. Last night, Ramy, Rebecca and I basically just hung out in bed, snacking and watching television. I am finished with my religion class, and tomorrow is my last neuropsych assessment class. I'm finishing up my grading for the lab I have been teaching (projective personality assessment). I may take one class next quarter, just for the fun of it. And my schedule at Casa Colina may be changing a bit, but I should have one day that is essentially free to work on dissertation stuff, interview for internships, or whatever. Things haven't been too busy at Casa Colina the last few weeks, which is nice, because I get all my scoring and report writing done there and don't have to bring work home.
