It is hard to believe that it has been five years since our wedding day. What a beautiful, sacred day it was. I'm even more grateful that we both realized that the wedding was only the first day of our marriage, which was something we both put as a top priority. The intervening time since that happy day has been full of happy times and blessings even through less-than-happy times. We always have a good time together, work together well, and complement each other's strengths and weaknesses, quirks, and foibles.
Ramy, I love you so much, and I'm so thankful God gave you to me. After five years, there's no one I'd rather spend time with than you. No matter what the situation, you're always what and who I need you to be at the time, whether it is by fixing whatever is wrong, making me laugh, making me see that I'm overreacting, or just being a distraction.
This is one of my favorite pictures from our wedding, and I think it symbolizes us well.
