Yesterday, we had the great pleasure of going to Apple Valley to spend some time with the Woltil Family. We had a nice drive out to the high desert, and Rebecca pointed out all the mountains to us until she fell asleep. We enjoyed a delicious brunch that they had prepared, with eggs Benedict, french toast and maple syrup, sweet rolls, fruit, and other goodies. It was so yummy!
Rebecca and Adelaide enjoyed more time together. They had a great time looking at books and dancing.
After we digested a bit, we headed over to Mojave Narrows Regional Park. They have a great kids' play area, some horses and camels (Rebecca called them llamas, but I think they were probably camels with one hump), and an area where there are all kinds of water fountain things. We had a lot of fun letting the girls swing and slide together.
